Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, v.v.i., in charge of astrochemistry and exoplanet chemistry (laser plasma chemistry, simulation of shock waves during asteroid impacts, prebiotic chemistry – chemistry of the origin of life, meteor spectroscopy), material chemistry and development in the field of forensic analysis. In the field of astrochemistry and prebiotic chemistry, he published a number of scientific works focused on the formation of biological substances in space or on early Earth during events with a high energy density. In other fields, his research mainly concerns material chemistry (study of metal oxides), characterization of luminophores and basic spectroscopy of molecules.

– works as an astronomer at Valašské Meziříčí Observatory p.o. and also as a technician of the Spectroscopy Department of the J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, v.v.i. He is mainly devoted to the study of interplanetary matter, especially the calculation of meteoroid trajectories and the spectroscopy of meteors.
